Junior Chemist

Nowave is looking for a chemist to join our growing team of creative minds to help in the formulation, production, and analysis of new products.


Location:
Rochester, NY
Commitment: Full Time

Responsibilities:

Operating extraction and refinement equipment including falling film solvent reclamation systems and wiped film distillation units. Learning and improving on current production methods. Assisting in assay preparation for chromatography analysis. Providing chemical insight into new product development. Assist in creating and monitoring quality control standards. Maintaining a detailed lab notebook.

Requirements:
BA/BS in Chemistry or related field. Good understanding of basic laboratory techniques. Strong interpersonal skills for working with science, sales, and manufacturing teams.

Extra consideration will be applied to applicants who have: - 2+ years of industry laboratory experience. - Extraction and/or hemp handling experience. - Experience in mechanical or chemical engineering roles. - Working knowledge of HPLC and other analytical methods and instruments.

Marketing Coordinator

Location: Rochester, NY
Commitment: Full Time

Daily Responsibilities:
• Manage & coordination all marketing subcontractors (Including but not limited to; content, photo, video, SEO, copy, designers, website, email blasts, lead generation programs, print, etc.)
• Aid in implementation misc marketing tasks provided by Creative Director
Bridge (The glue) the gap between sales team and design team

Monthly Responsibilities:
• Seek out, present for approval, and manage opportunities to partner with brand ambassadors and influencers.
• Seek out, present for approval prospective customer data.
• Prepare marketing activity reports and metrics for measuring program success.

Quarterly:
• Promote brand at trade shows and major industry-related event.
• Providing direction and support implementation to optimize process as it pertains to marketing.

Requirements:
4+ years marketing experience.
Experience in cannabis is a plus but not required!
Self-motivated and a strong aesthetic eye. Must be detail oriented and organized.
