Job Title: Production Supervisor

Position Summary:

Nowave is seeking a highly skilled individual with experience in cannabis processing to oversee production activities at our Rochester, NY facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in managing manufacturing processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role involves supervising staff, organizing workflow, and maintaining production schedules to meet business objectives. The Production Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining product quality, optimizing efficiency, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise production staff to ensure efficient and effective operation of manufacturing processes.
  • Communicate job expectations, monitor performance, and provide coaching and feedback to employees.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and maximize resource utilization.
  • Monitor and analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing safety protocols and conducting regular safety inspections.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure adequate supply of materials and equipment.

This role involves using our company vehicle to transport wholesale cannabis products to all licensed dispensaries in the state of New York. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. The Wholesale Delivery Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products while upholding all safety and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Safely operate the company vehicle to transport cannabis products to licensed dispensaries across New York.
  • Load and unload product shipments in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to dispensaries and maintain positive relationships with customers.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while driving.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of delivery vehicle and associated equipment.
  • Follow all security protocols and procedures to safeguard product during transit.

Job Specifications:

The ideal candidate will have experience in beverage canning or a related field, with a strong mechanical aptitude and a commitment to quality. The Beverage Canning Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining production standards and meeting customer demand while upholding all safety and regulatory standards.

Essential Functions:

  • Operate beverage canning equipment to package our products according to production schedules.
  • Monitor the canning process and make adjustments as needed to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of canning equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our standards for taste, appearance, and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs as needed.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
